Newcastle Business School at Northumbria University has a global reputation for delivering some of the best business management education in the UK.

Based at their £70 million iconic state-of-the-art city centre campus in Newcastle, they were the first University in the north east England to be awarded the prestigious ‘Small Business Charter’ in recognition of their work to support small businesses, start-ups and their contribution to local economic growth.

OBJECTIVES

In recognition of the changing marketing landscape, the Faculty of Business and Law needed Digital Allies to help deliver relevant, cutting-edge digital marketing training.

This training would need to provide essential skills to prepare tomorrow’s digital marketers and business leaders for a successful future.

METHOD

To complement the faculty’s strength in academic theory, we created a bespoke range of course content across a range of subject areas that would allow the students to put their newly-acquired theory into practice.

To ensure that students would be at the forefront of the digital marketing landscape when they graduated, we introduced a range of hands-on workshops using real data to improve the student experience, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Content Strategy, PPC, SEO, Social Media, CRO and Data Studio.
