Due to our continuous determination, development, success and commitment to our clients’ marketing campaigns within the past 12 months, Digital Allies has gone from strength to strength in 2017.
We are thrilled to announce that we are teaming up with the government’s Department for International Trade North East in October.
We will be providing a free workshop for North East businesses seeking to grow overseas trades by making use of the data captured automatically by their website.
It is a real honour for our team to work so closely with the D.I.T. and to further our commitment to sharing our knowledge, and in doing so, allowing business owners to make better informed decisions around their digital marketing.
We invite any business that have plans or desires to increase sales overseas, as well as those North East-based businesses that already are, to come along to the seminar as we hope to add genuine value and insight to SME’s in the region.
Steven Parker, Managing Director at Digital Allies and qualified Google Analytics Qualified Expert, will be delivering the seminar. Steven holds training courses for the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Throughout the seminar we will be carrying out an introduction to Google Analytics, going through the fundamentals of setting up Analytics and then highlighting why analytics is so important to your business when trading overseas. The talk will be delivered at a pace for all levels of knowledge on analytics.
He will be helping attendees gain an understanding of their international customers, how to generate custom reports and gain knowledge about Ecommerce Tracking, pointing out how it can help sell more to foreign markets.
“It’s great to be teaming up with the Department for International Trade to deliver hands-on and practical advice on ensuring the data being tracked in Google Analytics is accurate,” said Steven.
“Many times we’ve worked with clients whose data is inaccurate, leading to misinformed decision-making.
The event will go into detail on the configuration of Google Analytics, hopefully resulting in business owners leaving with confidence in the data they’re making decisions on.”
Julie Underwood, Director for the Department for International Trade, said:
“International sales through e-commerce platforms represent a huge opportunity for North East businesses to access overseas clients and increase sales and profits. Department for International Trade offer a range of support for e-commerce businesses and we are delighted to collaborate with Digital Allies to offer this workshop on Google Analytics to support international marketing”
Sue Beverley, the Department for International Trade’s E-Commerce Adviser, will be attending the event, highlighting the support and funding available to eligible companies through D.I.T.
The seminar will take place at e.volve Business Centre at Rainton Bridge South Business Park, Sunderland on 12th October 2017 from 8:30am.
