Business and media specialist Alastair MacColl has joined the board of digital marketing business, Digital Allies as the company continues its national and international growth.
MacColl joins the senior management team at Houghton-le-Spring-based Digital Allies as a non-executive adviser, bringing with him a wealth of experience.
He is chairman of BE Group, a media and business solutions group. which as chief executive he launched in April 2007. Since then it has established a reputation as one of the UK’s most innovative and successful employee-owned businesses.
Before joining BE Group, Alastair worked in newspapers and media-related businesses for almost 20 years, leading publishing businesses for Trinity Mirror plc, and the Daily Mail and General Trust Group. Alastair is pro chancellor and chairman of Teesside University.
As a new adviser to the board at Digital Allies, he believes the company has huge untapped potential due to its ‘unique, collaborative approach’ with clients.
MacColl said: “Clearly the digital landscape is constantly evolving and Digital Allies is breaking new ground with a collaborative approach to working with clients, along with an innovative outlook to technological advances.
